School Tours - Not Available 2012
Yellow Point Cranberries will be offering tours of our cranberry farm in the fall. The fee for the tour is $50.00 / class which includes all class members, parent supervisors, and educational assistants. Please see the information below for a great class trip. Each tour is 30-45 minutes followed by a 15 minute question period (optional). This year tours are available on Tuesday October 4th, Wednesday October 5th and Thursday October 6th.
Additional Information:
· Siblings are welcome if well supervised by their parent(s).
· $35.00 Deposit is non-refundable but can be used as credit and is due at time of booking.
· There is a class bag of cranberries and cookbook for the teacher at end of tour.
· There is an area to have snack before or after tour.
· Anyone with bee allergies must be indicated to tour staff and also must be accompanied one on one with an adult responsible for care in the event of bee sting. Adult must carry cell phone and all relevant medicine at all times.
· Discipline / class management is the responsibility of the school staff and accompanying parents.
· All participants must remain with the group at all times
· Total visit time will be about 1.5
We can accommodate 3 class tours at each time listed above so you may want to share a bus with other classes from your school or a neighboring school.
