FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I get started once I have signed my group up?  We will email you info / order forms and recipes.  Print out enough copies for each of your team members and you are ready to sell! Remember to allow a few extra days at the end of your fundraiser to tally the order forms and send the totals back to us.
2. When should I start the fundraiser?  It is entirely up to you, but we recommend you begin as early as possible.  Keep in mind that orders must be sent to us by September 27th.
3. How do I place our order?  After you count your sales, please send your order to us by email.  Once your order is placed, we will email you an order confirmation to approve.
4. What is the minimum order?  100  -  1kg bags
5. What if we do not reach the minimum?  There will be a small delivery charge for all orders under the minimum.  The charge will vary by your distance from us (approximately $20 - $40).
6. What should we expect on delivery day?  Cranberries will be delivered to your central group location / school.  Please call us to discuss if you would like alternative delivery arrangements.  We will update you on the delivery regularly as the shipping date approaches.
7. How do we take care of the cranberries prior to dispersing them?  The cranberries are packed in plastic 1.2 kg bags.  The bags will be packed into cardboard cases/boxes.  Keep the cases cool and out of direct sun light. The box tops can be opened to let the air in if they will be sitting for extended periods. The cranberries do not need to be refrigerated for the short term, but once they are distributed they can be kept in a fridge for up to two weeks or frozen immediately for future use (just pop the bag in the freezer).
8. Why are the cranberries not all dark red?  Cranberries start off being green, then changing colour to white, pink and then red.  At the white / pink stage the cranberries are ripe and ready to be enjoyed.  Cranberries will darken with temperature change – cool frosty nights and warm days.  Don’t worry if all the cranberries are not all dark red, the flavour is still there and the red colour will bleed through when you cook with them.
9. What can we do with the cranberries?  Cranberries are one of the most versatile fruits, they are not only a holiday tradition, but they can be used every day.
