Our Farm
Yellow Point Cranberries is a family farm. In 2001, my husband Grant, a third generation farmer, and I, began restoring our 43 acre farm.The land had been left fallow for over 30 years, so the two of us, with some help from friends, family and new neighbors, spent months clearing the land, brush cutting, levelling, and finally planting in May 2002.The first year we planted 8 acres of cranberries, and in October 2005 we had our first official harvest. We now have over 15 acres planted and all of it in production in the fall of 2008.
